PHOTOGRAPHERS, in particular, can promote their work effectively by asking clients to print a Web address as a byline. Ask your Internet Service Provider about registering a "domain name" in the form www.your_name.co.ie in Ireland or www.your_name.co.uk in the UK. Put up a web site at that address with small samples of your work and full contact details. Then, picture desks can immediately track you down whenever they see one of your pix.
