Auntie coughs up

Pierre Vicary of the BBC World Service Chapel spoke to the May meeting of London Freelance Branch about their travails. Auntie refuses to talk to the chapel about freelances - but, faced with the possibility of them all being unavailable on the same day, rapidly decided to talk to, er, freelances. They've won up to £5000 in backdated holiday pay for casuals. Now they're campaigning for proper facilities for night workers.
