Reclaiming our past

WHOSE history is going to be remembered? The proprietors' and editors' or that of working journalists?

London Freelance Branch members are starting an oral history of the branch and its members. We've tried to do this through the union nationally but we have had the brush off so we have decided to do it ourselves.

We are looking for volunteers willing to interview a friend or colleague, to be interviewed, to take photographs, to suggest people who should be interviewed, to lend broadcast-quality recording equipment or best of all to join a small group to run the project.

We are sorting out a list of suggested questions and a release form to cover the rights of those participating.
