BBC World Service producers Abdul Hadi Jiad and Adli Hawwari were peremptorily dismissed by the World Service on 15 May - and they're not going quietly. They ambushed BBC Director-General Greg Dyke as he arrived at the Radio Festival at Birmingham's International Conference Centre to give a speech on 9 July (above).
Management has widely alleged that Abdul and Adli overburdened them with court and tribunal cases. And guess what comes next, unless they have a re-think? Abdul asked Greg directly: "When will your reinstate us?". The reply was "You must talk to our people." Whatever that means.
