In September the Branch agreed to donate £499 to the CIPO-RFM project in Oaxaca, southern Mexico to develop its radio and internet projects. These (pictured left and described at cipo/ourstory.htm) provide an important service for the indigenous people in the region, whose media needs would otherwise be ignored, and protection from attacks by armed paramilitaries for indigenous people in remote locations.
