Harare help

WHO BURGLED the Zimbabwean Union of Journalists in January? The precariousness of the union's organisation is clear from Forward Maisokwadzo,  Chair of Association of  Zimbabwean Journalists in UK, reporting that "two attempts were made at their offices in Harare... at the second attempt they managed to basically "clean" the office's equipment - the laptop and the computer."

Was the incident was politically motivated or a classic burglary case? At its January meeting London Freelance Branch voted to donate £200 towards the purchase of a new laptop for general secretary Foster Dongozi. We understand that other NUJ branches are considering similar motions.
