Getting Started celebrates 20 years of helping freelances
FOR 20 YEARS NOW, freelances who are just starting out have been able to come along to Getting Started as a Freelance, the course that London Freelance Branch set up to help people find out what freelancing is about and how it works. Freelances, would-be freelances, staffers thinking about going freelance - all sorts of people have benefited from spending a day in the company of other neophyte freelances while listening to advice distilled from the combined experience of London Freelance members down the years.

Some of the people who came along on the last running of Getting Started as a Freelance happily posed with one of the tutors Phil Sutcliffe (kneeling). With any luck, they're hammering along on their freelance careers.
