Express strike

Journalists at the Express newspapers and the Daily Star have voted to strike on Fridays starting from 4 April, over a below-inflation pay offer and editorial interference by proprietor Richard Desmond. See www.nuj.org.uk for updates. As ever, staff would appreciate it if freelances discovered they were unavailable on these Fridays.
