The Trireme Award

The Trireme Award - for "the worst rates since I was last chained to the oars" - is proud to present a special new category for "£10 and under" remuneration for work done by freelances. Joint winners in June's £10 and under category are the CN Group's Carlisle News & Star, who felt a tenner was a reasonable price to pay for a pic, and Yahoo!, who rewarded 150-word singles reviews with the same amount.
