BBC rates rise

The NUJ has agreed annual revisions of rates for BBC News and for Radio Talks and Features.

For example, in News a "Straight piece/despatch researched and reported incl Generic Minute, over 2 minutes" goes up from £78 to £80 and a "Live donut with guest(s) incl contributors, corr 2-way, links, actuality etc" from £94 to £96.

From 1 August radio features went up from £41.74 per minute with a £292.18 minimum fee to £42.85 per minute with a £299.95 minimum fee; and the minimum daily rate for reporting from £121 to £125.
