Journalists on the Daily Post have voted to take strike action over Trinity Mirror's plans - which include potential redundancies putting at risk editorial quality and creating unreasonable workloads for remaining staff.

Members of the NUJ's chapel at Trinity Mirror North Wales will now be meeting on Monday to discuss next steps. This week the newspaper's only political reporter based in Cardiff left as part of the company's plan.

Watch for strike dates, on which you may find yourself unavailable. Freelances who suffer hardship as a result of being unavailable should contact the striking chapel.
