RTL Group

On 7 April 2000, Bertelsmann, GBL/Electrafina and Pearson announced that they had agreed to merge CLT-UFA and Pearson Television... into Audiofina. After the approval of the merger by the European Commission on 30 June 2000 and the admission by the UK listing authority, this was renamed RTL Group.
