Simon Pirani

I write mainly about business, finance and politics in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. I have a specialist knowledge of the gas sector, and am a Senior Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies (natural gas programme). I have published an academic monograph on Russia in the 1920s and other academic articles. I contribute to specialist publications such as Institutional Investor, Emerging Markets newspaper, Trade Finance, Project Finance and industry journals such as Gas Matters.
