Based in Kentish Town, London. As a photographer I have specialised in portraiture, documentary and photojournalism. My work covers editorial and public relations. I have been freelance since 2002 and prior to that I worked on the picture desks of The European and The Independent newspapers. I have also worked for Associated Press both as staff and as freelance photo editor.

Penny Kiley, sometime Melody Maker contributor, whose Atypical Girl is a memoir of her times in the late-1970s hanging out at Liverpool’s Eric’s Club where she rubbed shoulders with Echo and the Bunnymen, Teardrop Explodes, the Mighty Wah!, Pete Burns and Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.
