NUJ MEMBERS needing emergency legal help - for example if you've been arrested or face an imminent police interview - should call 0800 587 7530.

This number will refer you to an appropriate solicitor in the relevant nation of the UK.

For less dramatic advice, NUJ members (only) should read read this advice before contacting the Freelance Office.
