![]() Snappers' doshFOLLOWING an eight-year campaign, the Design and Artists Copyright Society (DACS) has secured its first payment from the Copyright Licensing Agency(CLA), on behalf of visual artists - including photographers. Under an agreement with CLA 18 months ago, DACS is the collection society in the UK for payment for the photocopying of artistic works. In mid-May DACS received £160,000 from the CLA. DACS is now researching the most equitable method of passing on payments. NUJ members are entitled to free associate membership. - so, snappers, register now to get your share.
