Photographers who have black and white material with Sport England (formerly the Sports Council) should check whether their images still exist. At least one freelance photographer has recently received a settlement from the organisation after discovering that it had destroyed their work when disposing of its black and white photo library.

Historians should also probably call a strike over this.
