Big Brother burglary barney

CONTRIBUTORS to publications and websites at Channel 4 - home of Big Brother - met at Headland House to discuss a plan of action to tackle the all rights assignment the company is insisting upon.

Freelance organiser John Toner has already written to the C4 lawyer rebutting his arguments on the necessity of rights assignment. Jenny Vaughan, in conjunction with Steve Platt, is preparing a feature article which will explain the absurdity of the company's position and the heroic stance some NUJ members are taking.

It is necessary to find more contributors who may be prepared to resist C4's demands, and a draft letter will be prepared for return by potential refuseniks. If you're one, contact the Freelance Office
