Indyscribably awful?

THE FEES are diabolically low and they insist on grabbing your rights. But apart from that, how do you like working for Independent Newspapers?

If the answer is "not a lot", then why not make your New Year resolution to attend a meeting for all freelances who work for the two Indy titles?

Although the chapel has achieved recognition, the company still refuses allow the NUJ to represent freelances. A campaign is to be launched in February, with plans to launch a freelance network. So please let the Freelance Office have your e-mail address.

The meeting begins at 6.30pm on Wednesday, 5 February at the City Pride pub in Westferry Road, near the Independent offices.
