The Creators' Rights Alliance and British Music Rights
are hosting a seminar to debate the issue of public
service broadcasting from the perspective of creators
and content providers within the broadcast media.
International creators will discuss their own public
service broadcasters as well as their perspective of the
BBC and its influence internationally. A panel of British
creators from across the spectrum will describe their
work with the BBC, their expectations and reservations,
their ideas for charter renewal, and make comparisons
with commercial sources of work. The final session will
debate the issues, with experts from within the
broadcasting sector and a response from the BBC.
