Stop the Lies

Saturday's demonstration organised by the Stop the War Coalition, CND and MAB will seek to highlight the fact that more than a year after the dodgy dossier no weapons of mass destruction have been found and that many ordinary Iraqis continue to suffer appalling malnutrition. While $4 billion a month is spent on occupation just $20 million has been spent on humanitarian aid. Since the "end" of the war more than 1000 people have died.

The NUJ banner will be on the demonstration on Saturday to reaffirm our commitment to peace and social justice.

NUJ members will be meeting up from 11.30am at Speakers Corner (map). It would be great to see you there.
