Member free to stay

A London Freelance Branch member recived notice on 24 December 2003 that his appeal against deportation to Kosovo - where he would have been in danger for his work as a journalist - had been allowed. After a nervous couple of weeks waiting to see whether the Home Office appealed, he is now free to remain in the UK. The Freelance is sure members would want to thank members Simon Pirani and Tim Kalvis for their tireless work on his behalf.
