The Guild of Health Writers is holding a seminar on "Campaigning Health Journalism: how to go about it successfully and how to avoid the pitfalls." It's at 6:30 on 26 February at the Medical Society of London, Lettsom House, 11 Chandos St London, W1M OEB.

Speakers:

• Sarah Boseley, the Guardian's award winning health editor, who has campaigned on the safety of the SSRI class of antidepressants and the cost of antiretroviral drugs in developing countries;
• Sophie Goodchild, home affairs correspondent, the Independent on Sunday, who won MIND journalist of the year award 2003;
• Melanie McFadyean, freelance, who has written several investigative pieces on mental health and Gulf War syndrome; and
• Godwin Busuttil, defamation/medial law specialist, external legal adviser to the the BMJ since 1995.
