Ethics on the table

THE NUJ's Ethics Council is organising a conference in association with the media ethics group MediaWise, on Saturday 4 December in The Portland Room, University of Westminster, 4-12 Little Titchfield Street, London W1W 7UW

It's open to journalists and members of the public; it's free but places must be booked in advance: email jpt@mediawise.org.uk.

The themes of the conference are:

• the challenge to journalists - criticisms of journalistic output.
• who sets the standards - what forms of regulation can help strengthen trust in journalism?
how can we encourage journalists to be ethical?
