Wine, journalists and song?

A trade union headquarters may still not be the first place you'd think of for a party, but London Freelance Branch managed it on 13 December 2005. A surprising amount of the conversation was about journalism, too.

So the London Freelance Branch gathering in December was more of a social (or, if you prefer or were claiming fares against tax, "networking") event than a meeting. The Committee would like to hear from you on whether this is a good use of our precious few meetings a year, as well as whether it's a good use of funds to supply some members with excellent samosas and modest quantities of wine in return for stimulating conversation: email editor@londonfreelance.org with your views.
