REX FEATURES, a photo agency with a bit of a "paparazzi" reputation but a huge archive of culturally important images, is in the sights of the Getty agency. Though we were alerted a little late, the NUJ's Freelance Industrial Council decided to write to the government's Office of Fair Trading to insist that it is essential that there be competition between photo agencies - not just a duopoly between Getty and Corbis.
