Elect General Secretary!

THE NUJ is holding elections for a new General Secretary to lead the Union for the next five years. If you are a full member of the NUJ, your ballot papers for the General Secretary election should arrive by post some time not long after April 26, and once you’ve voted, you need to post your ballot to arrive before 24 May.

Applications to stand for election as General Secretary are open until 6 April from those who have at least five years’ continous membership of the NUJ, and have been a union officer or lay official of the Union for at least three years. See here for application forms and guidelines.
