This issue's Trireme Award nomination - for "the worst conditions since I was last chained to the oars" - goes to to the Telegraph's online operation, which paid an NUJ freelance member £25 for "Words + Pic". the Freelance commented on a Rate for the Job form circulated at June's LFB meeting that this was "v. poor."
