Guidance for EU workers on applying for settled status

Government information posters are already appearing advertising the EU Settlement Scheme
THE NUJ with Thompsons Solicitors has issued guidance explaining the current legal rights of EU workers in the UK, the possible rights which might be conferred if the Withdrawal Agreement is ratified, the Government's current plans for EU nationals and their families to have the right to apply for "settled status" and the Government's proposed changes to the settled status scheme in the event of a no-deal Brexit (i.e. where the UK leaves the EU without any agreement on the terms of its withdrawal). It also looks briefly at the Government's proposed new immigration system.
