THE FREELANCE hears a reliable account of a professional photographer finding that a women's magazine had picked up a picture from his Twitter account without so much as a by your leave.

So he contacted them... with an invoice. He was promptly paid what he asked.

Just to say: it can be worthwhile kicking against the pricks, as the Bard put it.
