New members gather

THERE'S A meeting for members new to NUJ London Freelance Branch on Thursday 27 October at 6pm. This will be a face-to-face meeting in the café at 308 Gray's Inn Road, London WC1X 8DP. The Food Chain Eating Together Community Café - also known as The Chapel - is downstairs from the NUJ headquarters building, whose entrance is round the corner in Acton Street. There's a photo of the exterior of the café below to help you find it.

These meetings are a chance to get acquainted with other new members and to meet members of the LFB Committee, including some more experienced freelance journalists who can offer advice. These meetings are always on the last Thursday of every third month.

We also welcome NUJ members who missed the invitation or, by all means, joined before then, or simply have a query with which the freelances assembled may be able to help. For updates in case of changes in these very uncertain times see www.londonfreelance.org/lfb/meetings.html
