Freelance tax seminar

WE HAVE the pleasure of having Barry Kernon FCA, of accountancy firm HW Fisher, hosting one of their popular tax seminars for freelances on Wednesday 13 October from 10:30am to 12:30pm. It will be held on Zoom.

This course is free to NUJ members and gives expert advice on tax for the self-employed, staff who have recently become freelance and members who are considering going freelance. It will also cover National Insurance for the self-employed; self-assessment; allowable expenses; setting up in business; and operating via a limited liability company.

These seminars always manage to make interesting what many at first think of as being a very dry subject.
