What a powerful service - late payment arrives

I had an outstanding payment for a new client, and had been waiting longer than six months for payment. I kept being fobbed off with apologies and promises to chase, but no money arrived.

Eventually, in despair, I emailed the client to tell them I would be consulting on the outstanding invoice with the NUJ - and payment miraculously appeared the very next day. What a powerful service for freelances.
