Ethical journalism and the NUJ code of conduct
WITH RAPID developments in artificial intelligence and growing misinformation, what does it mean to act as an ethical journalist in 2024?
The NUJ's Ethics council has arranged a stellar line-up to explore key principles in the NUJ code of conduct, and hear your thoughts in our Q&A session. Hear from Professor Chris Frost, Ethics council chair, alongside journalist and former MP Chris Mullin who refused to disclose source material in the 2022 Old Bailey case against West Midlands Police. NUJ president Natasha Hirst joins the panel for this exciting event - register now to book your free ticket.
It's on Monday 29 January from 5.30-6.30pm online. Attendance is open to all, so do share thus. There is no charge, but please register at the link below.
