Joseph played in the College Chapel on the Strand, King's College London from 11am on 19 December until noon on 20 December - to raise funds for the Amos Trust Gaza Emergency Fund.

Branch member Pennie Quinton, who helped make the event possible, says "We hope to make a space of peace and prayer for all."

The donation page is still open: Joseph's JustGiving page.

The Amos Trust specialises in reconstruction in Palestine. The oud is the stringed instrument of the Middle East. Joseph says: "I want to create a safe space for people from all religions and backgrounds to come together, light a candle and pray for those who need it most.

"Every life lost is equal, no matter what background, race, religion or creed and we must come together, show our compassion and send love to those that are suffering."

It was an utterly magical event.
