Free freelance tax seminar

BARRY KERNON FCA, of accountancy firm HW Fisher, is hosting another of the firm's popular tax seminars for freelances on Thursday 10 October from 10.30am to 12:30pm. It will be held on Zoom.
This event is free to NUJ members and gives expert advice on tax for the self-employed, staff who have recently become freelance and members who are considering going freelance. It will also cover National Insurance for the self-employed; self-assessment; allowable expenses; setting up in business; and operating via a limited liability company.
These seminars always manage to make interesting what many at first think of as being a very dry subject.
