New members meet

ARE YOU NEW to freelancing, one way or another? Would it help to get acquainted with other new members and to meet members of the LFB Committee, including some more experienced freelance journalists who can offer advice? NUJ London Freelance Branch holds meetings just for you, and the next is due on Thursday 27 November 2025 at 6pm.

We've organised a meet and greet for new members of the NUJ at the Royal Festival Hall on Thursday 28 May and would love you to join us. It will be a nice opportunity to meet IRL, hear about the work you do and want to do, and share some information on upcoming NUJ events and answer your questions.

This will also be a great chance to network and maybe even make some friends/inspiring connections.

So please come and join us for a tea/drink and a chinwag. Again, it's on Thursday 28 May from 18:30 to 20:30 (or later for those who want to stay on). We will meet around the tables by the main bar in the Clore Ballroom at the Royal Festival Hall, London SE1 8XX - nearest Tubes Waterloo and Embankment (Open Street Map.

Please RSVP to membership@londonfreelance.org so we can get an idea of numbers. Again, this is a meeting for NUJ members who are new to freelancing - but do say if you are seriously interested in joining and would like to come. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.
