Nominate your favourite editor

LET US give praise where praise is due. We complain loudly about publishers who chisel and cheat. But what about commissioning editors who do their best?

Do you know of an editor - of words or pictures - who is always fair? One who responds constructively even to duff pitches, perhaps? You can ask for anonymity if it seems appropriate. Remember to say what contract terms they offer which means, given how some managements behave, that perhaps we should institute an anonymous category for editors, too...
