The TriGong

This month the Trireme Award - for "the worst rates since I was last chained to the oars" holds its first joint ceremony with The Gong, awarded for late payment beyond the call of accounting duty. And the dishonour goes to Heritage Magazine from Romsey Publishing, which not only deems £20 a reasonable fee for use of a stock photo in a lucrative market (2003 ABC circulation 64,514 a month) but also pays more than three months later.
