All’s well that ends G8?

The good news is that the NUJ has had no direct reports of journalists being mistreated during the protests around the G8 meeting in Scotland in July.

The bad news is that the Freelance has received indirect and second-hand reports. Was a crew working for BBC4 detained? Is there a videographer from joined-up Europe still waiting to get their camera and laptop back?

The union can't do anything unless it has firm information. If you were there and were reporting, there's a handy policing incident report form on this site. Use it!
