Tax time

The deadline for your 2006-2007 tax return to arrive - if you want the HM Revenue and Customs people to do the work of calculating your taxes for you - is 30 September. You still have until 31 January 2008 to get your tax return for 2006-2007 done and sent off, but then you should do the calculations yourself. The Revenue and Customs website log data suggests that 200 people spent Christmas Day 2006 filling in their online tax returns.
