Kash helps out

Kash GT is the photographer LFB member who was kidnapped in Afghanistan and released in November 2006 - see the December 2006 Freelance. In January he completed one of the non-journalistic tasks he took on before his capture, when he brought a now-four-year-old Agghan girl named Shabana to his native Italy for treatment for a neurofibroma - a tumour that if left unchecked causes severe nerve damage and, ultimately, death.
