Eurodosh for investigators

DO YOU have an idea for a cross-border investigative story that would involve you cooperating with a journalist in another European country? If so, you have until 8 November to pitch your investigative story to the European Fund for Investigative Journalism via their website. They have a total of Euro 20,000 to distribute in grants for such investigative stories. See here for details.

Cross-border investigations are becoming increasingly important. Simultaneous publication of a story in media in different countries gives it a stronger impact, and makes it harder for stories to be killed by injunctions, as we saw in the recent Trafigura waste-dumping case.
