Greetings and solidarity to Wael Dahdouh and colleagues reporting from Gaza
We have all been watching with a mixture of horror and admiration the way you have had to work in the carnage of your homeland for the past three weeks.
Thanks to you we can all see the devastation, the dead and injured people, the near-impossibility of the conditions in which you have to work. Many of us watch Al Jazeera every day for the most thorough, fair and accurate reporting. We saw your pain after your family was slaughtered by Israeli bombing... this on top of the pain of witnessing and recording the losses of others.
We are protesting at the killing of journalists and donating to the international journalists' appeal for funds to help colleagues in Gaza - but will be pleased to help you in any other way we can. Our branch has 3200 members who spread the message widely.
So please be assured that our concern and support will be with you, your staff and other colleagues as long as this hideous experience continues.
