Among the six women they arrested on “suspicion of conspiring to cause public nuisance” at a Youth Demand public meeting on climate change and Gaza was student journalist Jen Kennedy, who was planning to cover it.

Why, she asked in the Independent, was she then detained for 16 hours and denied even a single phone call? The Freelance is trying to contact Jen for further comment.
