Free freelance tax seminar

ACCOUNTANCY firm HW Fisher is hosting another of its popular tax seminars for freelances in England and Wales on Wednesday 22 October from 2pm to 5pm in person at their offices.
This event is free to NUJ members and gives expert advice on tax for the self-employed, staff who have recently become freelance and members who are considering going freelance. It will also cover National Insurance for the self-employed; self-assessment; allowable expenses; setting up in business; and operating via a limited liability company.
These seminars always manage to make interesting what many at first think of as being a very dry subject.
There are only 27 places, so please email freelanceoffice@nuj.org.uk to book your place. Please inform other NUJ members who are freelance in England and Wales if they want to register. Places are first-come, first-served.
