Introducing our Branch Equality Officer

FOR THOSE Branch members who don't know me yet, my name is Ehi Ekhator, and I am your Equality Officer for the London Freelance Branch of the NUJ.

As a freelance journalist myself, I understand the unique challenges we face from securing fair pay to navigating an industry that doesn't always treat everyone equally.

In my role as Equality Officer, I am here to champion diversity, challenge discrimination, and make sure every freelance member in London feels seen, supported, and represented.
