How many NUJ freelance members work for the BBC? We don't know - but we'd like to. We know that the BBC provides work for more freelance journalists that any other organisation in the country. And there are many different types of work and terms and conditions.

Our long-term aim is to approach the BBC to seek annual negotiations on freelance terms and conditions - something the Beeb has so far refused. But before we do that we need information - and we need it from you!

With this issue of the printed Freelance you will find a survey form. Please fill it in: it should take only a few minutes. Then return the form to Headland House in the pre-paid envelope provided. If you have already returned this form to the Freelance Office you need not do so again. All information will be treated as strictly confidential.
